About Baltic Broadband

We are Baltic Broadband, your digital connectivity experts. We own and operate our own independent digital network, housed in our own data centres and digital exchanges across the region.

Unlike the wave of alternative network startups currently struggling in today’s economy, we are completely independent, debt-free, highly profitable, and run without institutional investors or venture capital control. Led by time-served Chartered Engineers with over 25 years of industry experience, our business is built entirely on long-term financial and environmental sustainability.

We are proud to be Liverpool’s premier connectivity partner, trusted to deliver flawless internet infrastructure for some of the world’s biggest brands and high-profile local icons.

Is This Role For You? (Please Read Carefully)

Because we support rapid-deployment internet for major film sets, television productions, and live events, our workshop coordinator is the vital anchor behind the scenes.

You are responsible for building, testing, configuration-loading, and managing the specialised, rugged deployment hardware kits that go out to high-profile clients like BBC Radio One, Cream Global, and Liverpool Sound City. You are the gatekeeper of our inventory. If you are a naturally organised, process-driven professional who takes pride in maintaining a spotless, high-functioning workshop environment, this is your long-term career home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, organise, and account for all network hardware, fibre equipment, wireless links, tools, and deployment kits within our central workshop.

  • Pre-configure, stage, and technically test network hardware (routers, switches, wireless links) so they are 100% prepped for zero-failure field deployments.

  • Maintain strict inventory control, tracking assets leaving and returning to the workshop to eliminate wastage.

  • Coordinate logistics and equipment availability to ensure field installation teams have exactly what they need before they leave the building.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in a technical workshop, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, or IT hardware environment.

  • Skills: Hands-on experience handling, configuring, or organising IT/telecom hardware. High proficiency in inventory tracking and asset management workflows.

  • Traits: Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised, and structured. You are someone who cannot tolerate a messy workspace or inaccurate stock logs.

  • Mindset: A mature professional looking for a secure, highly respected operational role within a profitable, stable business.

How to Apply

We do not accept generic, automated applications. To be considered for this role, please use the application form directly below:

  1. Fill out your name and contact details and upload your up-to-date CV.

  2. In the Cover Letter / Message box, please provide a brief answer (150–200 words) to the following question:

“Why does a structured, independent, and stable local business appeal to you more than a chaotic, high-growth startup environment, and how do you maintain strict organisational standards in a workshop setting?”

Note: Applications submitted without the specific text answer pasted into the cover letter box will be automatically discarded.

Strictly No Agencies

Baltic Broadband operates a strict direct-hire model. We do not accept unsolicited CVs from recruitment agencies, headhunters, or third-party suppliers. Supplying unsolicited CVs to any of our employees or via our application portals constitutes an explicit waiver of any potential fee terms. Any unsolicited CV received will be treated as a “free gift” and the property of Baltic Broadband, and we reserve the right to pursue and hire that candidate with zero financial obligation to the sending agency.

Telephone & Cold Calling Notice:

All Baltic Broadband telephone lines are corporate numbers registered with the Corporate Telephone Preference Service (CTPS). It is an offence under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) to make unsolicited marketing or B2B sales calls to this number. Because our inbound infrastructure incurs direct, flat-rate connection charges per call, speculative recruitment or sales calls cause this business immediate, quantifiable financial damage.

We actively log all unauthorised agency communications. Under PECR Regulation 30 (Statutory Tort), we reserve the right to take legal action through the County Court to recover all infrastructure costs, call connection losses, and administrative damages directly from any agency breaching these regulations. Cold calls, texts, or emails will also result in your agency being permanently blacklisted from future consideration.
