The Baltic Broadband Team enjoyed the launch of our new customer Dragon Post Production last Thursday evening.

Dragon’s new Liverpool facility is an all-in-one post-production facility, offering exciting world-class film and TV finishing facilities that include offline, online, grading, VFX, DIT, Dailies, and Delivery.

Located in the stunning Hardman Studios, which also features office and event space it’s set to become a vibrant centre for local creatives. Stunning food provided by Paul Askew’s Barnacle gave a delicious taster of their future restaurant offer too.

Dragon Post Production is now enabled with a 10Gbps high speed leased line along with access to our Rush Upload Network: a large network of upload points around the Liverpool City Region that filmmakers can plug into, then upload footage directly to post-production facilities and others.

Dragon Post Production’s impressive portfolio includes a host of acclaimed films and documentaries, with projects ranging from high-budget features distributed by Warner Bros to award-winning independent documentaries that have captivated audiences at major film festivals. Dragon is also a Restoration partner for the BFI, taking 16mm & 35mm film through scanning and full restoration, and developing AI tools with specialist software developers.

This trusted legacy continues with the opening in Liverpool, offering productions of all scales a reliable, post-production partner in the heart of the North West. Upcoming projects include providing services for Diesel, from Sister Group, producer of Black Doves and the newly announced BBC drama The Cage, currently filming in the Liverpool City Region.

Liverpool City Region is fast emerging as one of the UK’s leading hubs for film, TV, and digital content creation. Backed by the expertise of the Liverpool Film Office and Liverpool’s Flexible Growth Fund, producers benefit from free, extensive services, including location scouting, permissions liaison, parking, traffic control, and access to a skilled local workforce.
