Baltic Broadband are pleased to announce a large investment in a new, state of the art Technology Hub with work beginning today.
The new premises will be a global hub for innovation, technology and digitalisation and is due for completion in 2027.
Baltic’s new facility will be a multi-purpose facility that will house a number of applications including:
- A new head office for Baltic Broadband and Mersey Fibre complete with its new 24/7 network operations centre
- An industrial-scale data centre that will house some of the UK’s most advanced computing technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud workloads.
- A Technology Hub with private office suites, co-working facilities, prototyping labs and meeting rooms
- The Liverpool Internet Exchange (IX Liverpool) which works to make the Liverpool City Region internet better for everyone
- A Cafe and Gym/Fitness studio
- Film and TV Studios, A Recording Studio and podcast studios, complete with prop storage and tech parking for film crews
- A Lecture Theater that will host numerous free to attend technology talks and debates every year
- A power station that will produce renewable energy for our digital network and the buildings tenants
Our new premises will be located in a prime city centre location, with excellent transport links and ultrafast network connectivity.
Baltic are keen to talk with local building companies and various suppliers of building materials, electricians, plumbers, data centre builders, local IT companies and more.
